Good question in my humble opinion the true answer would fall to the authority of management (Jesus) and above my pay grade, as I am only in the sales department here!

We can look to scripture for guidance on this question, but really only ONE knows the true heart of man and what is buried within! Psalm 139:2

By their fruit you shall know them, if you continue to do evil no matter what you say or pinky swear, your lord and master is the evil one! Ephesians 6:12

To truly believe in and know Jesus one must repent and turn from their evil sinful ways and life, as you can not serve two masters. Galatians 3:1

The evidence for this narcissistic Darwin occultist with the blood of sixty million souls on his hands, world war two. Would humble himself and believe in a Jewish rabbi prior to the Mauser at his melon speaking is quite slim indeed, at best a meaningless confession of faith!
Scripture beginning in Genesis and world history show us that life does not end well for whose foolish enough to harm or destroy His people!

Exodus 9:12 But the Lord hardened pharaoh's heart.
Ezekiel 25:1-17

I can believe that I am a 1947 Indian chief and make motorcycle noises in my garage all day, but unless I become one, it's just a silly empty deception to me, and any laughing as they watch.

True believing will be followed by our excellent works that bring glory to Him and the kingdom.

Ephesians 6:18..............in the Lord's freedom warrior on.

I think that if Hitler believed the Gospel he did so, as 1 Corinthians 15:2 states, "for no purpose". Some translations read: "without careful thought" or "believed in vain". Authentic Christians believe the Gospel for the purpose of being made dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.

1 Corinthians 15
"Now brothers, I want to clarify for you the gospel I proclaimed to you; you received it and have taken your stand on it. 2 You are also saved by it, if you hold to the message I proclaimed to you—unless you believed for no purpose. 3 For I passed on to you as most important what I also received:

that Christ died for our sins
according to the Scriptures,
4 that He was buried,
that He was raised on the third day
according to the Scriptures,"
