What does it mean that the church has been grafted into the 'Olive Tree?'

Romans 11:11 - 24

ESV - 11 So I ask, did they stumble in order that they might fall? By no means! Rather through their trespass salvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous. 12 Now if their trespass means riches for the world, and if their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full inclusion mean!

May I suggest what I consider to be a more accurate statement than was made here?
"Jewish believers remain in the tree but are joined with Gentiles and "made" into a "new body," the Church"
A more accurate statement would be...
"Jewish believers remain in the tree and are joined by believing Gentiles who GOD has "grafted in" to that Jewish tree. Together they are the body of Christ."
Gentiles joined the believing Jews - not the other way around!
The church is not a Gentile replacement for Jewish Israel.
