Does Mary the mother of Jesus inherit Omnipresence?

Mary is an incredibly special woman. The fact that she was chosen by God to carry Jesus is probably the greatest honor that any woman has ever or will ever receive. Protestants could do a lot better at respecting and honoring her. On the flip side, Catholics would also do well themselves to remember that she was just a woman, and plays no role in our Salvation or personal relationship with Christ. There is nothing in Scripture that indicates Mary was, or is anything more than a normal woman. She was conceived in sin like the rest of us, needed Christ's forgiveness just as much as the rest of us, and is now in heaven like we will all be one day. There is nothing in Scripture that indicates that Mary has received any sort of God-like attributes.

There is no proof in holy bible regarding this issue. Actually this issue was projected by Catholics who misinterpreted word of God. Word of God is what we should follow and not what pope or his council members say. Please study letter to Romans-1:19to28. Do not be deceived please study holy bible. We shall worship LORD. I mean we shall not worship mary.

If Mary was omnipresent that would make her equal with God because He alone Father Son and Holy Spirit has omnipresence. No other human being will ever inherit omnipresence. So what does that imply? It means that if you ever pray to Mary or the saints you are really deifying them as being everywhere present hearing everyone’s prayer. I have heard the excuse when I ask “Why pray to Mary when the Bible teaches us we are to pray to the Father in His name?” and the often spoken answer is, “We are just asking her to be a mediator because she has more influence with her Son than us.” No, that’s not the issue. The Issue is that Mary is not in more than one place and whether she is in heaven as a soul with the other saints which is what I believe, or somewhere else, she cannot be listening to the the multitudes hearing their many prayers. If she could be omnipresent she then would also have to be omniscient as well to be able to remember all the prayers and process them. Whoever created such a dogma in the Catholic Church has actually led people into the highest form of idolatry by making mere men (people) equal to God. Just praying to Mary is indeed idolatry. There is no place for praying to anyone other than the Father in the Name of His Son. You cannot pray to Angels or mere men ever. The only Man we can pray to is Jesus the Son of God the second person of the trinity who as God is with the Church always and in Spirit dwelling in every believer. Mary is to be regarded highly as an example of humble obedience and faith but never to be highly exalted in any other way. That glory only belongs to God and He does not share that glory with another, even His earthly mother. When out of the crowd came a woman desiring to heap adoration on Mary because she bore Jesus, he stopped her immediately and declared that everyone that obeyed was equally as blessed! Jesus is the only one that gets the Glory of equality with God and if you are praying to Mary and the saints you would do well to cease immediately. Isa 48:11..For my sake, for My sake I will do it; for why should My name be defiled? And I will not give My glory to another. Luk 11:27..And it happened as He spoke these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice and said to Him, Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts which You have sucked. Luk..11:28 But He said, No; rather, blessed are they who hear the Word of God and keep it.

Mary gave birth to Jesus, not the other way around. So if anyone would inherit anything, that would be Jesus. He inherited his human nature from Mary. If Jesus can give anything to Mary, that would be honor (not omnipresence), following the commandment, "Honor your father and your mother". Jesus obeyed this command completely. ----- Update 2 October 2015 Another thing that Jesus inherited from Mary is his citizenship. A person is considered a Jew if he is born of a Jewish woman.
