Why is God going to release Satan after the 1000 years?
Revelation 20:7 - 10
ESV - 7 And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison 8 And will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea.

How come? It is the ultimate proof that the heart of man is desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9) and can be changed only by God’s grace. (Jeremiah 13:23).
Mankind (you and I) and especially the humanity living at that time will find it impossible to change their ways.
