Imagine your life without the blessings you have been given, regardless of how small. Do you have hot water? Do you have a bed? A blanket? A family member/friend? It helps us to realize how much God blesses us when we imagine our life without God's blessing.

He created you, has healed you from sickness in the past, has sealed your name in the Lamb's book of life through the Holy Spirit, died for your sins in a manner that you were incapable of, offers His forgiveness, He has prepared a place for you in heaven for all eternity, He has given you His very thoughts through His Word, He has given you one on one access through prayer, He has given you every breath you've ever taken, He has provided you with the capacity to produce the necessities in life that are His property to begin with, He has given you this world and it's resources, He has given you all of the conveniences in life by granting the ability to those who created them, on and on and on. Your question should be, how in the world could someone not observe that everything we have to be thankful for, is a blessing from God?
