Is the choice of salvation in greater control by man or by God?

To be more specific, whom do you believe has the greater control when it comes to faith?

It is all God

John 6:37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.

John 6:39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day.

John 6:40 This is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

John 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

1 Corinthians 6:14 And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power.

@David Kenyon, please read John 8: where you'll find that Jesus was having a two way conversation with some Jews. They physically heard him, but they could not understand and believe what he was saying. Jhn 8:43 NLT - Why can't you understand what I am saying? It's because you can't even HEAR me!

Jhn 8:44 NLT - For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.
Jhn 8:45 NLT - So when I tell the truth, you just naturally don't BELIEVE me!

That's why it is the Lord that unplugs our ears and opens our eyes (ISA 35:5)

He is the one that removes the veil that prevents us from understanding and thus believeing the Gospel...

2Cr 3:18 NLT - So all of us who have HAD that veil REMOVED can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord--who is the Spirit--makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.

But those that still have the veil...

2Cr 4:3 NLT - If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing.

2Cr 4:4 NLT - Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe. They are unable to SEE the glorious light of the Good News. They don't UNDERSTAND this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God. (NLT)

May the Lord continue to open the eyes of the blind so that they may see the incredible beauty and truth of the Gospel of Christ and be saved!!
