Why is there so much conflict among Christians on the issue of law vs. grace?

The law was given by Moses to the Jewish nation as Gods provision for them to be a special people separated from all nations,and they were to be witnesses that God would be glorified.

Paul came into the picture in Acts as a Jew (a Pharisee)until Acts chapter 9 and everything changed at that point because the Jews refused to believe the Gospel, thus the Body of Christ had begun, which is the Church.

Why would anyone want to go back to Moses, who represents the law, and frustrate the Grace of God? Well we should remember that any confusion does not com from God for He is not the author of confusion.
