The uniqueness or singularity of Jesus Christ is seen in at least 6 ways:

1. Jesus Christ is unique as God’s Son Jn 3:16 NIV footnote “only begotten” indicates that Jesus Christ is the unique Son of God, in origin, eternity and nature. See also Jn 1:18; Col 1:15; Heb 1:1-3,8,9 Michael’s
points #9 and #10 attest to this, also.

Jesus was with the Father and directly involved in the creation, and it is by His hand that all things are held together (John 1:1-3; Ephesians 3:9; Hebrews 1:8-10; Colossians 1:17).

It is Jesus who will rule the world at the end of this present age (Hebrews 1:8; Isaiah 9:6-7; Daniel 2:35, 44 Revelation 19:11-16).

2. Jesus Christ is unique as the mediator between God and humanity 1Ti 2:5 “The Man Christ Jesus” (1 Tim. 2:5). is the greatest of all Bible men!
Compare Michael’s point #4. Jesus is the only Way to the Father (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Timothy 2:5); there is no other way to salvation.
See also Jn 1:14; Heb 8:6

3. Jesus Christ is unique as the sacrifice for sin Heb 7:27 See also Ro 6:10; Heb 9:12; Heb 10:10,14,18
4. Jesus Christ is unique as the Savior Ac 4:12; Jn 14:6 See also 1Jn 5:12
Compare Michael’s point #4 again: Jesus is the only Way
to the Father (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Timothy 2:5); there is no other way to salvation.
5. Jesus Christ is unique as the foundation 1Co 3:11.
6. Jesus Christ is unique as a forgiver of sins (Mk 2:7). The miracle of pardon is a unique blessing: remember the healing of the paralyzed man let down through the roof? In Mark 2:1-12, “The Miracle of Pardon,” we see:
A. It is supernatural.
Eternal pardon can only come from God.
Man can forgive, but only Jesus, the God-Man, can remove the eternal
consequences of sin. (My wife always says to me, "Only God can forgive.")
B. It is complete.
Our Lord forgives all our sins.
C. It is here and now. Mark (and Matthew in his parallel account)
stress this by using the present tense in the announcement, “Your sins are
forgiven.”
D. It is permanent. (Luke’s parallel recorded the statement, “Your
sins are forgiven” using a perfect tense which stresses the permanence of the God-Man’s forgiveness.)
