My opinion is that you either believe or you don't. There is no such thing as easy believism. You either put your faith in Christ for salvation or you don't. It costs Jesus His life that He gave for our sins. Salvation is a free gift and it costs us nothing. We are to die to anything thing else to save us but His work on the cross. We die to anything about our selves to save us but His work. When we do that He comes into our life and we are forever sealed unto the day of redemption no matter what.

We become the children of God the moment we put our faith in Chirst alone for our salvation. We are complete in Him. We are saved sinners.
If you say you have no sin you are a liar and do not the truth. Dying to sin will not save you. That is works salvation and eliminates what Jesus did for us on the cross.

Once we put our faith in Jesus we do have a new life. We now do what we do because we love God for what He has done for us and love others for the same reason. Since Jesus forgave us our sins we can forgive others that sin against us. Everything we do should be based on what Jesus did for us on the cross.

The reason we love God so much is because of Jesus. (grace). If we could out sin grace then it would not be grace. If we could work our way to heaven then Jesus did not have to die.

Pauls greatest warning to us was to make sure our faith was in Christ alone. We are to examine our selves to see if we are in the FAITH. Without faith it is impossible to please Him. Faith produces righteous living. But we do not depend our righteousness, but on His by faith. Where sin abounded grace much more abounded.

Some say you just want fire insurance. Jesus is the best fire insurance and the only one I know of. He pulled me out of the flames of hell and set my feet in heaven.

When I stand before the Lord on my last day am I going to tell Him about all my good works, or say, Thank God I am here by what Jesus did on the cross for me and nothing else.
