Hello new believer and friend In Christ.

Welcome to the family of God in which God himself has made you his own child. While all humans are a part of Gods creation and are loved by him, only the born again are his children. (John 3:5-8)

Never forget that this new family status was given by faith and not earned by your goodness. "Money paid to workers isn't a gift. It is something they earn by working. But you cannot make God accept you because of something you do. God accepts sinners only because they have faith in him." (Romans 4:4-5)

You will learn so much more about what has happened to you and the journey just began by faith will continue by the same faith.

Learn to pray as you walk. A specific time and place are wonderful, but the most exciting time is when you commune with him as friend with friend, even while you are with others--or especially when you are with others.

Don't wait for others to feed you. Open your bible daily and read for yourself. When you don;t understand, pray for wisdom.

Now prayerfully find that local church where the bible is held to be God's Word and Love is the true mark of a believer. The bible calls you a babe in Christ and you will meet more babies as well as the more mature. Love them and learn from them but remember that they are humans on the same journey as you. Keep your eyes on Jesus!

Finally,
"You have accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord. Now keep on following him. Plant your roots in Christ and let him be the foundation for your life. Be strong in your faith, just as you were taught. And be grateful." (Colossians 2:6-7)

John was the oldest and most revered of the disciples, and his teaching urges us to study the relationship between father and son/daughter. For God so loved the world that He gave his Son to ransom us. What John reveals is that Jesus came to die not because He loved us, but because He loved His Father; Father loved us so much, heartbroken by the loss in the Fall that Jesus said, Dad, let me go and redeem them for you.

John reveals that Jesus died to restore our relationship with Father. I am the way for you to come back to intimacy with Father and Me, to know how much He loves you.

So thats what next, rush to get to know the Father who loves you so much He cannot take his eyes off you, who gave his beloved Son to buy you back from sickness sin and death from the devil and restore you to walk with Him in health, life, love

Jesus said He was the Way, the Truth and the Life, that no one could come to the Father except through Him - John 14:6

The next step is to walk in Truth.

John, writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit said, and thus it is actually the Holy Spirit saying: "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth." 3 John 4.

You give God joy by walking in Truth.
