There is no doubt that preaching is a noble calling and one which is far more important to God than it is to most people. Preaching is not simply a time-filler in the worship service, nor is it the...

Hey, I think that if God truly wants you to be a preacher then the Lord will find a way to make that happen.

A preacher without holy spirit anointing can only teach like a school teacher whether or not the message is reaching students. When there is a call of the Lord in respect of any person to preach Gods word, there will be a burning desire in heart of the preacher and holy spirit leading in his life.

When the holy spirit is indwelling in the person then every action in his life is regulated. When he speaks the word of god, it pierces into the hearts of listeners and stir up their hearts. It is evident from the listeners that tears will be rolling down their cheeks. You will find the joy glowing in their faces. Sinners will turn to God. They will openly confess sins and turn towards God.

Further, the preacher when he starts to preach after submitting himself into the hands of our Lord, the words of God, versus in the Bible which he had prepared to preach may not be spoken instead new things, new words, new versus of bible, new thoughts, new things will be revealed to the listeners based on the needs of the gathering which the holy spirit knows.

Further, the preacher will experience new things in the delivery of his discourse that will be astonishing to himself, as he never expected to give such a message. Day by day his effectiveness of preaching will increase and see tangent results among the listeners lives.

God, Lord Jesus has commanded his disciples to go across the world and preach the word of God. Hence God himself has identified persons and called them to spread the Gospel. To know his will whether or not one is called to preach, one can identify burning desire at his heart to preach, guiding power of Holy spirit, smooth and effective delivery of sermon, flow of words,Joy confidence, courage at his heart in spreading the message can be felt and experienced.

Last but not least, the results, fruits of his preaching can be evident from transformation of lives among the listeners, multiplication of the mob from one sermon to another and increase in demand for meetings can be experienced.
