Christianity applied the final criticisms to the various psychologies of antiquity, and brought their scattered elements of truth to full focus. In DNA we have the physical characteristics of our human form 96% shared with monkeys over 93% with pigs and etc. DNA addresses the physical body and it's mental capacities NOT the "Human Being". The tendency of Christ's teaching was to centre all interest in the spiritual side of man's nature; the salvation or loss of the soul is the great issue of existence. In the Gospels, body and soul are recognized as a dualism and their values contrasted: "Fear ye not them that kill the body... but rather fear him that can destroy both soul and body in hell." So, biblically speaking, it is not possible to clone a "Human Being". A relevant question today regards stem cell research. Stem cells, a type of generic building block cell, are "harvested" from live embryos in order to repair / replace damaged cells and cure disease. Sounds nice. However, answer this rhetorical question: Is it OK to grow a human to use for spare parts?
