The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth. Not all things are in the bible.

I would think that anal sex would be wrong.

Paul says everything is permissible but not beneficial. He understands the value of staying away from sin even though he could be forgiven of said sin. Yet in your answer you have strayed from what I think is moral ground. I don't think it is a good idea to tell people they can do things just because it is not specifically listed in the Bible. If the Holy Spirit condemns it and the Bible speaks to Holiness, then matters not defined should be tested and prayerfully considered. Also Paul says to stay away from the appearance of evil and if we do things the world does we endanger ourselves by becoming worldly. Be careful in what you advise.

There are two camps. Those who are so concerned with wanting to look holy and those that want to justify every deed when it comes to sex in Christian marriages. I believe the key is to enjoy one another and explore as much as one desires. The marriage bed is undefiled. When one or both partners "doesn't feel right" about certain sexual practices, ask God is this the Holy Spirit or my uber strict upbringing that is causing me to feel guilty. Explore this together. I think it's dangerous to ask other Christians, is this allowed? It should be between the both of you and God. Every thing else is a matter of opinion. And unless the Bible is explicit about certain practices (fornication, adultery, etc) who are we to tell a couple that God is not pleased when they do oral or anal or toys or different positions?

I agree with all opinions commented on this forum. However anal sex is almost representational of a homosexual act, just can't see any justification in the word "sodomy", the anus is made for excreting body waste which can sit in there for days beforehand. Mutual consent and prayer is a definite when wanting to perform such acts but one has to question if the other half is bringing their personal struggle of pornorgraphy even gay pornography into the marriage bed. Biblical counselling is a definite for pre-weds and wedded couples because the majority are and have been tainted by sexual sin.

Natural acts are not oral or anal this is sexual immorality. We shouldn't say if we agree its ok its ok in marriage. The definition of sodomy includes oral and anal sex.

Anal sex has proven to spread diseases and surely common sense prevails that this is an area where we expel our waste products. Hardly suitable in a loving relationship. I can remember when buggery (for that is what it is was called) was against the law. Christians regards homosexuality as wrong and this is a practice carried out by many male to male relationships.

This question is a touchy one. Most people will post opinions or their preferences. I'll give mine: If agreeable between husband and wife ok, but I just disagree when it comes to anal. That's opinion, not biblical. But if married and agreed upon and not forcefully. The bible is specific on it, not how ,but with whom. People will post what they think is right and wrong, but as someone stated earlier, the bible is clear on sex. We can't say what they weren't doing back then because they were doing all kinds of sexual acts too with objects and others, so if it was wrong I'm sure it would've touched on it. They were having sex with anything including animals and everybody. So I say to each his own, as long as married and consensual.

"The anus is made for excreting body waste..." I've never done anal anything, so don't understand me wrongly. But... as far as I know, both body openings are made for excreting body waste. I've even seen people regurgitate (from the mouth) in public. The mouth is made for eating, but I often use mine to yawn.

I don't believe there are any new ways of having sex that wasn't thought of from the beginning of time. For some reason God never declares sexual positions or acts that the people here who find anal and oral lovemaking sinful, to be sinful. But that's not new. He overlooked, smoking, chewing tobacco, alcohol consumption, celebrating birthdays, men wearing earrings, many of the things that some in the christian community have decided they think should be grounds for "christian impeachment."

There really are people who believe that if you're "a christian" you won't WANT to do some of these sexually progressive things. They might be right if you're "a christian," I don't know. But if you believe Jesus died to save you from the penalty of sin, death, you might not tether His sacrifice for you to how you enjoy sex or anything else that you like to do. I think it depends on what you believe about what He did and not what you do.

Contrary to what is often repeated, I believe the gospel message is becoming clearer. The sooner sexual positions and acts are evicted from the conversation about salvation the clearer the grace of God for eternal life will be.
