My understanding is that knowledge is your understanding on how something works and wisdom is the core truth on how that something really works. For example, many muslims believe Allah is the true God, Hindus believe Vishnu or Krishna is the top God, Buddhists believe nirvana is the ultimate goal, and Christians believe Jesus is God. All these beliefs are theological knowledge. With inspiration of the Holy Spirit plus testimonies/ prophecies of the OT and NT, the core truth or wisdom becomes evident that Jesus Christ is God. There are many other examples of core truths, such as God created the universe and us 6 thousand years ago. Scripture and science confirms this. The bottom line is that the Holy Spirit will lead us to core absolute truths or wisdom if we allow Him to do so.

Search for the word wisdom in the scriptures. Come to know what it means. Wisdom is from the Father and with it comes understanding and knowledge from above. The knowledge of this world is not the same as the knowledge you receive from on high. Men can hear the words of God and have knowledge of them, but have not understood. They are like straws blowing in the wind. They will never be steadfast in their knowledge, but change when they hear a better answer from someone. But those who have wisdom, understanding, and knowledge are never moved.
