Were Adam and Eve saved? The Bible does not specifically tell us whether Adam and Eve were saved. Adam and Eve were the only two human beings who knew about God before they became tainted with sin....

Adam and Eve were created in God's grace or favor (Gen. 1:26- 31). They fell from grace by sin and lost the eternal life they would have kept if they had not sinned (Gen. 2:17 3:1- 19 Rom. 5:12- 21 2Cor. 11:3). Bible did not mention that they repented of their sins and so they did not get their sins forgiven. And so, they are not listed with the faith- worthies of the Old Testament (Heb. 11). Adam was still a sinner at the age of 810 years (Gen. 6:3). He was a son of God (Lk. 3:38). Thus, again, sonship is proved not to be a guarantee of eternal life. God promises to punish every angel or man who sins regardless of sonship or relationship My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh:yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. The 5th prophecy in Genesis 6:3 was fulfilled in Adam, and gave him 120 more years to live before being cut off. This was given when he was 810 years old, making Gen. 6:1- 2 refer to the 810 years since Adam's creation, and Gen. 6:4 refer to the days after this to the flood. Hebrew:'Adam (H120), with the definite article, the man Adam. The meaning is, "for that he (Adam) is also flesh (as all other men are):yet his (Adam's) days shall be an hundred and twenty years" (Gen. 6:3). If man is held to be in the plural, meaning all men in general and not Adam in particular, then who else is referred to by the word also? The fact is, the verse reveals that Adam had corrupted his way upon earth as all other flesh had done, and that God, in His mercy, gave him 120 more years in which to repent and conform his life to the will of his Creator. However, Adam did not repent otherwise his name would be listed in Hebrew Chapter 11 of Old Testament saints.

Were Adam and Eve saved? Yes! Notice: Genesis 1:21: Unto Adam also and to his wife did Yehovah God make coats of skins, and clothed them. In order for skins to cloth Adam and Eve the blood of animals had to be shed. And blood sacrifice covers sin. So when Yehovah covered Adam and Eve with skins it was a sign that they had been forgiven and from that point on if they lied according to his commands they would be saved = delivered. However, as is always the case, even if we have been forgiven for our sins there are still consequences that are the result of sinning against God and for Adam and Eve they are put out of the Garden Paradise and cut off from the tree of life and are having to toil to produce a crop because the ground is cursed producing weeds, and women to experience pain during childbirth, etc. Also the soul [which means the entire person] that sins will die and both Adam and Eve both eventually died. However, they will be resurrected at the return of the lord Jesus at the beginning of the new age that is soon coming.

To say that Adam and Eve were not saved is just an opinion, with no biblical proof, just because they are not listed with the Saints in Hebrew 11. Adam and Eve had a lot more children, and The Bible says the Ables sacrifice was more acceptable than Canes just shows that they learned how to serve God from there Mother and Father. There is no way to prove it ether way, we will just have to wait till we all get to Heaven, and see who's there. I have to believe the they did repent of there sins and taught there children to do the same. And because of there teachings many of the Old Testament Saints learned from there Fathers the value of serving God, and repentance of sins.

Adam and Eve were created perfect by God. Sin had not entered them until the disobedience. They walked with God in tHe Garden until their sin. They were created to live forever bacause death comes from sin. God blessed them after the sin with abundance in children and using all resources in the land out if the garden. They were Saved because God created them perfect and without sin. God gave them hardships afterwards and took away their eternal earthly bodies because they died, but being the start of the human race, they still had connections to their creator, their Father. Yes, they were saved from the beginning, but set the precedence of death by sin to all their offspring and can only be redeemed by God's Son, Jesus Christ, whom He sent to undo the original sin by believing in Him. God sent the Truth, Way and life, so that we can walk with Him again in the Garden of eternal life.

In the book of Romans 7:7-12 Scripture said we (including Adam) were alive before without the commandment and law. But after the commandment and the law we died in sin [paraphrased]. Both commandments and laws do not make us saved or of faith. But faith unto salvation comes through hearing and believing the gospel which is the word and plans of God for mankind (Romans 10:17). Adam and Eve heard about the plan of things to come of the Son(Jesus Christ) to bruise the Satan's head and they BELIEVED it from God as a promise (that SAVED them). Afterwards, they name their children in reference to the Lord God and faith in Him alone after a genuine repentance (Gen. 4:1&25). They both taught their children how to make sacrifices and reverend to God. Adam and Eve are the first works (offspring) of the Lord which cannot be permanently destroyed by the Satan. They were Redeemed through their faith in God and His promises of things to come which are the essence of Christ Jesus. Amen. Amos Ismail J.

God's Words does not say that Adam and Eve were damned. As a fact, Genesis 3:21 records God as covering them with the skin of an animal, revealing Leviticus 17:11 and Hebrews 9:22. As with all other Old Testament persons, Adam and Eve would have entered Abraham's Bosom to wait until the promise of the Messiah was fulfilled, and taken to heaven when Jesus led captivity captive. Ephesians 4:8. Sometimes, we preach the Godhead from a natural perspective, but Adam and Eve were banished from the Garden because they became rebels; rebels rebel. God could not allow them to remain in the Garden and rebelliously partake of the Tree of Life; all of humanity would be eternally lost. In His love for mankind, Jehovah blocked the way to the Tree of Life knowing that mankind could come to Him after Adam sinned. Jesus satisfied the Father's payment for sin. The account in the Garden teaches us in spite of what humanity might perceive to be the worst possible event, God is not moved, and provisions have already been made for it. Romans 5:18. Thank the King of Glory for His love! Thank the King of Glory for His mercy! Thank the King of Glory for His omniscience!

There is no scriptural evidence to suggest Adam and Eve were saved. But according to Catholicism they were, according to this quote: "As we have said elsewhere, Adam and Eve are not called saints in ordinary reference, historical or scriptural. But they may be called saints on their feast day, which is the vigil of Christmas, because we know from sound Catholic tradition that they repented of their great sin, lived lives of holiness and are now in Heaven. Adam is the father of the human race. Eve, his wife, was formed from Adam’s body. All of us have descended from these two. Adam was created in a state of paradisal innocence, with no human frailties or weaknesses. Adam sinned by disobeying the command of God not to eat a forbidden fruit. The whole human race inherited original sin because of Adam. Adam personally repented. Adam lived for 930 years. By his sorrow, his contrition, his pleading and his love, Adam finally won God’s full forgiveness for himself. Adam died and went to the Limbo of the Just, which is called “hell” in the Apostles’ Creed. This was not the hell of the damned. It was the place where the Just had to wait for the coming of Christ. Adam ascended into Heaven in body and in soul with Our Lord on Ascension Thursday, forty days after Easter. Adam’s feast is the vigil of Christmas, which is also the feast of Eve, his wife, who is with him in Heaven."
