The word perfection carries the idea of wholeness and a lack of nothing. If something is perfect, then it's complete. So how can heaven be perfect if some people are missing? Wouldn't it be better ...

I believe the most significant benefit to taking on a glorified existence in Christ after we have been delivered from this body of death, will be to finally experience what life is like when Life is not about us. Self-centered thinking will not be a part of the heavenly program. My, I, mine, our... These terms won't enter into our new way of living totally by faith in the the love of Christ Jesus. His thoughts will be our thoughts because when we see Him we will be like Him. No more " what about me, what about my "... I don't mean to sound insensitive concerning those who are not going to be there; it is a scary thought to consider. Those who are saved, however, need to be sure we are inheriting what we truly want: a new life in Christ and not simply an upgraded version of our old life in the "world". Old things have passed away, behold all things have become new. There's your upgrade right there. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness,faithfulness And self-control to all who are in Christ!

I think that when we are highly ecstatic about the situations we find ourselves in, we never really grieve for those who are not there with us. We do not halt the celebration to weep because someone we care about is missing out on the festivities. Even when we see them the next day, we do not cry while telling them, "Oh you should have been there." Instead we look back at it with joy and happiness. ...And this is here on Earth! I think it will be even greater in Heaven. Now if you are saddened because you currently know someone who, should their life end today, would not make it to heaven then you have a Christian duty to reach out to that person. Should that person turn down the offer of salvation, then it is time to move on for the harvest is plentiful.

This may sound harsh but a soul that does not want to be with God chooses to be in a place far, far away from Him. This "self-induced" seclusion is a result from a soul deciding to "hide" from God. When we go to heaven there will be no earthly feelings of sadness bec these feelings will be overshadowed by our complete understanding of God's holy fairness and pure justice.

Heaven is perfect. This is true because God resides in heaven (Psalm 123:1,Psalm 139:8, Psalm 150:1), because He created the heaven (Genesis 1:1, Jonah 1:9, Psalm 115:15, Psalm 146:6). We were never promised that our loved ones will be in heaven. But if they were followers of Christ, believed in Him (John 3:16) and made Him their Lord and Savior, they would be in heaven. Jesus says "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by Me" (John 14:6). Just because our loved ones are not in heaven does not make it un-perfect. The only ones in heaven are those that chose Christ with all their heart and followed Him. In the book of Luke, chapter 9 verses 57-62, we read the accounts of 3 different individuals who were not ready to follow Jesus, but made excuses. These individuals would not be in heaven unless they repented and followed Him, whether they were loved by family members or not. Family members' love for each other is not a requirement to be in heaven, but "believe on the the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shall be saved, and thine house". Acts 16:31. That said, let it be known and understood that heaven is always perfect, even when we Christians are not perfect. If you want to see your loved ones in heaven, start ministering Jesus Christ to them, so that they too can become saved and be in heaven, where there will be no more sorrows, death or tears. In Heaven I don’t think we will know who’s not there. Not sure we will know each other; most likely we'll know God is our Father, Jesus, Holy Sprit & angels. My plan is to be there one day and known more then.
