In my opinion, it is not by respect but by love that we are to show towards sinners. As Christians we are to display the same love that we have received by God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins. For it is evident according to Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Jeremiah 31:3 says, "The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn thee." It is by the love of God that sinners are drawn to Him. According to the scripture that you referenced, it is quite clear, that love is the fulfillment of the law. It is not by the works of the law shall any man be justified, but by the grace of God! Thank God for His amazing grace!
