How can we fully trust God's personal care for us, as described in verses like 1 Peter 5:7, when life still feels overwhelming?

7 casting all your cares upon him, for he cares for you.

Please give biblical examples.

1 Peter 5:1 - 11

JUB - 1 The elders who are among you I exhort (I am also an elder with them and a witness of the afflictions of the Christ, and also a participant of the glory that shall be revealed). 2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, caring for her, not by force, but willingly; not for shameful lucre, but with willing desire.

My own personal first thought would be the statement by Paul in Romans 8:28 that God makes all things work together for good for those who love Him. That doesn't guarantee care-free lives in this world, but, as Jesus said in John 16:33, "In the world you will have tribulation. But be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

It also helps to always remember that our life spans on this earth (even at their longest) are insignificant in comparison to an eternal future for believers spent in God's presence.

Additionally, as pointed out in Hebrews 12:4-12, as dire as our personal circumstances may be, we have not yet resisted sin to the point of shedding our own blood, and that any seeming unpleasantness or hardships that we experience are to be regarded as discipline from a loving Father from which we can grow in our faith.
