What is the law spoken of in Romans 10 verse 4? Is this referring to the ten commandments given to Moses?
Romans 10:4
AMP - 4 For Christ is the end of the Law [the limit at which it ceases to be, for the Law leads up to Him Who is the fulfillment of its types, and in Him the purpose which it was designed to accomplish is fulfilled. That is, the purpose of the Law is fulfilled in Him] as the means of righteousness (right relationship to God) for everyone who trusts in and adheres to and relies on Him.

The Law given by God to Israel (of which the passage known as the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17) is a part) is contained in the Old Testament books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. Despite the length of the presentation of the Law, Jesus Himself said (in Matthew 22:32-40) that the Law's entirety could be summarized in only two commandments: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might." (Deuteronomy 6:5) and "Love your neighbor as yourself." (Leviticus 19:18). No matter how the Law may be considered, Jesus (who was both fully God and fully human) fulfilled it in its entirety on behalf of all humanity through His sinless life, sacrificial death, and resurrection, since no mere human has ever been (or will ever be) capable of such perfect fulfillment or obedience. Therefore, since all humans (and especially Christians) should still strive to obey the Law, that attempt at obedience is done out of gratitude to God for the salvation and eternal life that faith in Christ has already obtained for them, rather than as a means of actually saving themselves.
