In response to the person who disagrees with Christians operating down here on earth by using our faith: what does he propose as an alternative to faith? If a christian passively accepts everything that's thrown at him in life as being from God then his life will not be vey successful. God expects us as believers to see His will as represented in His Son Jesus. John 10:10 is Gods will and the theifs will. By buying into this God is sovereign idea it's like living in the o.t. when believers mistakenly thought everything came from God, both good and bad. God doesn't micromanage the earth and expects His children to grow in a real spiritual relationship with Him and start using their God given faith to overcome negative circumstances, sickness and poverty, etc. God Himself spoke the world into existence by faith. Sure people can use their faith selfishly and get off track but I don't see any alternative. Abraham is the father of faith. We are a targets down here on earth and have a spiritual enemy who wants us to be made a mockery of all the things that Jesus died on the cross to save us from. One must be careful when you speak against other ministers who proclaim the word. You would probably be surprised at the amount of money that some of the these people you named funnel back in to the spread of the gospel. Gospel means good news. The world is smart enough to not want to be sick and broke. God doesn't want us in that state either. He wants to raise us up from our failures.

This is a subject worth a debate!

I can say I thank God for the time I was influenced by the Kenneth Copeland's etc. - As part of a good church, we believed God could, but rarely actually believed he Would.
The errors mentioned are certainly there - and any system that tries to manipulate God (e.g. "Have faith in your faith" is one book title) has to be rejected: BUT we will discuss finer points in doctrine - and that is like trying to blow bubbles in the midst of a water fall!!! It's time to BELIEVE God - and look to him to actually move in this world - redeem the lost - and perhaps meet us at a much deeper level than mere biblical analysis.
