Just as Israel was to be the light to the nations of the holiness, justice and love of God, so now the Church is in this age to be the same. Our lives are to be led in obedience and faith as examples of the mercy and grace of God extended to us through Jesus who satisfied the requirements of holiness and justice that was necessary for us to receive that mercy and grace. We are to be showing the love of God by our lives. God judged Israel for their constant turning away to other gods and their disobedience to show His justice to the other nations in His judgment of them. 

t is the same now--He will judge those in the Church (His house) who are claiming to belong to Him but are faithless and disobedient. So then, when He judges the rest of the world, they will not be able to cry out that He is unfair. We are only saved, made righteous and spared judgment through faith in Jesus. Our response is to live in faithful obedience for the love and grace He has shown us in Christ. Any in His house who do not, will be judged 1st as examples to the rest of the world which will eradicate any excuse of those who refused to acknowledge Truth of God.

Like Moses at the rock of Meribah Numbers 20:11 some dominations distort or misrepresent GOD and His WORD. (Galatians 3:1-3)
By the addition of various narcissistic and dreary theatrical doctrines to their teachings of His simple divine grace. (Jude 1:4)

The placement of these yokes, cause many of the Lord's precious people to error and stumble, trying to be faithful to the follies of man. They were set free from all bondage and yokes by His completed work on the cross. (1 Corinthians 7:23)

These false teachers will be held to account for their doctrines at a higher standard for they knew the truth, but rejected it and taught for their own profit!

1 Peter 4:17: For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. The Heavenly Father did not send His Son to condemn the world but so that the world might be saved through Him. (John 3:16-17/Mark 10:45) Lord Jesus needed to go through Samaria and He sat at Jacob’s well. The Samaritan woman who came to the well and met our Lord Jesus knew about the coming of the Messiah who would lead them. When all the Samaritans came to the well to witness Our Lord Jesus, they then knew this was indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. (John 4:4,23,25,42) For this cause, the gospel was also preached to those physically and spiritually dead in sin, so that they might be judged according to men in the flesh but live according to God in the spirit. (1 Pet 4:6/Mark 10:27) 

There were Jewish leaders, Pharisees, and the people who witnessed the mighty works done by our Lord Jesus. They were against Him, but Lord Jesus chose not to bring judgment upon them. He walked away, leaving them scattered like sheep without a shepherd. (Mat 12:15-17,30) The judgment began in the house of God, among the twelve chosen disciples. When Lord Jesus sat with them, He foretold that one would betray Him and another would deny knowing Him three times. As Peter revealed, the judgment “began at us,” that is, with the disciples, Judas, who betrayed Jesus and then was led to hang himself. Peter denied knowing Jesus and then went and wept bitterly. (Mat 26:21,31,34,75/27:4) Today if one suffers and controls his tongue according to the will of God, will keep their souls to Him in well-doing and cease from sin. (1 Peter 4:19)

Many today obey not the gospel of God who are physically and spiritually dead, for the blood strives in them and they do not want to arm themselves as “being suffering in the flesh and to cease from sin.” (James 4:1) Today much leave in the flesh to the lust of men but not to the will of God. (1 Peter 4:1-2) The time has come today where you see the judgment that has begun in the house of God. Many go and do not endure the sound doctrine, but after their own lust heap to themselves, teachers having itching ears to please them. (2 Tim 4:3) For they love the praise from men more than the praises of God the Father. (John 12:42-43) 

2 Timothy 2:21: If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
