Is it wrong in God's eyes to tell a deceased loved one that you love and miss them?

My mother passed away and sometimes when I think of her, I say, "I love you, mama. I miss you, mama, and I honor you, mama." Is that wrong? Is that against God's wishes?

No one can fault you for your feelings or actions (since Jesus said that those who mourn are blessed), but, at the same time, if (as I assume) your mother was a Christian, focus instead on the eternity of joy that she is now experiencing, and that you (and all your other saved loved ones) will spend with her in Christ's presence (which was -- and is -- the comfort -- both for this life and the next -- of which Jesus spoke to those who mourn).
