What are the commandments of God today?
"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep (obey) the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."

ESV - 12 Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.

Only two laws pertain to those who belong to Jesus: 1. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind (Matthew 22:37) 2. Love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:39) (see also Rom. 13:8-10 and Gal. 5:14) The commandment is summarized in Rom. 13:10-- love does no harm to others. We could include James 1:27-- Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. If we love God we won't practice things that are forbidden, and if we love people we will want to comfort and protect them.
