In my opinion, the association of angels with planets arises from pagan astrological beliefs that are not supported by Scripture.

Also consider that nowhere does the Bible say there are other life forms besides on earth. What would these angels be ruling over then? The Bible only mentions a few angels ruling over a few nations (Dan. 10:20).
