Are there scriptures to support any model of the shape of the earth?

Can we find any scriptures to support either of the models of the earth? Either the flat or the globe model? Or any other?

Yes.

Isaiah 40:22
"It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:"

People can support all sorts of things, but we must be very cautious whenever scripture is made to bend to some "scientific" theory. It's the same for the earth's age as for its construction.

What can be said for certain is that in no book, chapter, or genre does the Bible ever describe earth as moving, spinning, or orbiting. In Joshua 10 we have the account of a battle in which Joshua prayed that the sun and moon would hold still, which they did for about 24 hours. Other passages describe earth as fixed and the luminaries moving above it. Isaiah used different words for "ball" and "circle", where the ball was something thrown and the circle was something all around, such as the small ditch or moat one might dig around a newly planted tree.

Romans 1 tells us that just looking at creation should be enough to convince people that God made it all, so any interpretation that could work as easily for atheists and evolutionists should be viewed with skepticism.
