Has the book of Amos been fulfilled or is it a reference to end times?

Amos 1:1 - 15

ESV - 1 The words of Amos, who was among the shepherds of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake. 2 And he said: "The Lord roars from Zion and utters his voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the top of Carmel withers.

The prophecy in Amos about GOD bringing a famine of HIS WORD is yet to come I believe. The many versions available today apart from the Authorized King James Version depart from the Greek and the Hebrew translations by adding to or taking away words and phrases which often change the meaning, and which GOD forbids in Revelation. Also many Christians today DO NOT READ THE WORD OF GOD! And non-christians desire to burn and/or destroy the Bible. I believe we are seeing a famine of the WORD today as we see that most and many Christians do not live according to the Bible, which makes me believe that they don't know it! As GOD made Pharoah stubborn when he wouldn't let the Israelites go, I believe that the physical Bible will be hard or impossible to get so we had better hide it in our hearts so we won't sin against our GOD!
