Is there a way to escape God’s judgment?
Revelation 20:11 - 15
AMP - 11 Then I saw a great white throne and the One Who was seated upon it, from Whose presence and from the sight of Whose face earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 I [also] saw the dead, great and small; they stood before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is [the Book] of Life. And the dead were judged (sentenced) by what they had done [their whole way of feeling and acting, their aims and endeavors] in accordance with what was recorded in the books.

Acts 16:31 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. John 3:18. Believers can no longer be condemned, but unbelievers are condemned already because they have not believed on the name of the Son of God. No amount of keeping Gods laws can save us, and no amount of good works can save us. Jesus alone apart from works gives us the free gift of eternal life. A timely question, Julio Magtibay! "Flee from the wrath to come," the Bible says. "No one can escape the judgment of God," someone says. He is holy entirely. His judgment must fall on us, or on a Substitute. There is no other way. Christ was/is our Substitute, but we must appropriate this. No one comes to the Father except through Christ.

No! All sin (imperfection) has to be accounted for in judgment by God. All roads lead to God, but your decision here on earth determines which judgment seat you will attend. Hebrews 9:27 For those who have humbled themselves at the foot of the cross and asked Jesus to pay for their sins, we go to the Bema seat judgment. 2 Corinthians 5:10. This results in eternal life in heaven. Those that die without submission to Jesus as Lord will go to another judgment seat called the Great White Throne Judgment. Revelation 20:11 It results in hell. Remember that our sins are either paid for by Jesus on the Cross or by our own punishment in hell. Why? Because while God is Love, He is also just. He has to judge imperfection. Jesus came to this earth for one purpose: to die in our place for our imperfection. Jesus was, is, and will always be the perfect, acceptable sacrifice that is pleasing to God. Ephesians 2:8-9 Both of the seats are judgment seats to provide an account what we have or have not done while living here on earth. My dad was a pilot and one of the most important things he taught me is you have to know where you are going before you go. Making a decision on where you are going after takeoff is not good. The results of not knowing where you are going after death is horrible. Have you been perfect in your life: in action, thought, or intentions? How confident are you that you will go into heaven? 95%, 98%, 99.999% are not good enough. 100% is the confidence we have when we put all our trust in Jesus. Philippians 1:3-8 Sure, we feel bad, have shame and guilt about our sins, but the fact that we are going to heaven is not based upon what we do but what Jesus did on April 6, 32AD. He took all the punishment for our sins on that cross. My belief in His work on the cross is confirmed at 100%. How? When you believe in Jesus, the Holy Spirit of God comes to live inside you. I still have not figured this out, but it's true. God Himself comes to live in us. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Even now the Holy Spirit of God is working in your heart (pricking) revealing the sin in your life. John 16:7-11 A little white lie here, a stolen pen there, a long lustful gaze at a girl, or a word of gossip about someone; all are sin. If you agree, then you are a lying, thieving, whoring gossip. Blunt, I know, but eternity is at stake and I want you to have what I have; confidence in Him about eternity. The thief on the cross next to Jesus asked Him one request and it was granted. Paradise in less than 24 hours was his. Luke 23:40-43 That thief, you and I have one thing in common, all we need to do is ask for eternal life in heaven. Believe that Jesus died on the cross for your imperfection (however small) and you can join me in heaven. Many have said that heaven will be boring and hell will be fun. Luke 16:19-31 gives us an actual account of what happens in hell. It will be torment. Yet, if this earth, the creation Genesis 1:1-25 is so richly diverse in exciting discoveries, why can't God do it again? He could create something even more wonderful. Don't believe the lies, trust in the Lord Jesus with your heart and join us in eternity. In college I used to wear this shirt that boldly stated "No surfing in hell, cuz the lake of fire has no waves!" It was meant to provoke questions. Hell will not be fun, your friends won't be there, there are no parties, it is a place where God does not exist and the only way to describe it is "burning fire and brimstone". I think it's more harsh than that. But heaven is waiting for you just with one simple request to God. "God forgive me a sinner." Luke 18:13-14. Join me and many others in receiving Jesus Christ as Lord of your life. You will not regret it one bit. It is the best adventure of any in life. Yes, there are some hard points, but keep asking for His mercy to fall upon you. 1 John 1:9, and don't give up.
