To me, the difficulty of addressing this question is increased by the fact of many prophecies already having been demonstrated to have both a short-term and a long-term (and, in some cases, VERY long-term) fulfillment. There may be prophecies that are commonly regarded as having already been fulfilled that, in fact, are awaiting a further or final fulfillment that may not be recognized (or recognizable) as such until that fulfillment actually occurs.
