How can I get right with God?

I'm reading my bible and praying all the time, but I still feel lost. I want to follow Christ, but my mind feels so lost and scared because I can't understand God...how he Hears and sees all of us...his power...my mind tries to grasp it. I just want to believe and let go and let God, but I'm struggling.
