I would first note that the verse cited in the question uses the singular word "kingdom", rather than "kingdoms" (as quoted by the questioner). To me, the difference is significant, because, when Satan tempted Jesus, he was prepared to give Jesus the "kingdoms" of the world in return for Jesus worshiping him, which would have signified Jesus' (and thus God's) acknowledgment that Satan was still in control over the "kingdom" of the world as a whole (that is, the fallen world system). (Jesus also indicated this at His trial before Pilate, when He told Pilate that His kingdom was not of this world.) 

By contrast, the depiction of end-times events, as noted by the verse cited in the question, indicates that the kingdom of the world will one day no longer be in Satan's control, but that Satan will have been finally and eternally deposed or overthrown, and that God the Father will reign, as will God the Son (that is, God's Christ, or His Anointed One), by virtue of the manner in which He was obedient to God the Father's will to the point of His suffering and atoning death, which were validated as sufficient by His subsequent resurrection.

Prophet Daniel wrote about God of heaven setting up a kingdom in heaven that will overthrow and destroy all the kingdoms of the world. We recall the dream of King Nebuchadnezzar which God showed him in answer to the question on the King's mind concerning which kingdom will rule over the earth after his.

The full story is recorded in Daniel Chapter 2. Daniel told the king that God was showing the king the succession of world powers. The stone cut out from a huge mountain by a non-human hand and hurled at the feet of the huge image to crush it to powder symbolized the kingdom of God. A huge storm came and swept away the remnants of the image and then the small stone grew and grew and filled the whole earth. 

Daniel 2 :44 says: "And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever."

God thereafter gave Daniel further information on the kingdom in Daniel 7:13,14,15-18. These passages teach us that God will crown Jesus as the head of the heavenly government mentioned in Daniel 2:44, and will rule over all the nations. 

Daniel 7:13 --"I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

Daniel 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

In addition, God will enable "saints of God" to take the kingdom as co-rulers in the government.

Daniel 7:18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

The above is the background to what is recorded in Rev 11:15. That place is saying that a time will come when God's kingdom government under Jesus as God's appointed King and Ruler will take over rulership of the earth from Satan's appointed governments. 

That change of the rulership of the earth, according to Isaiah 9:6-7 will result in momentous changes on the earth: 

Isaiah 9:6 - "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Those verses give assurance that the kingship of Jesus And his corulers will bring peace, justice and judgement (righteousness) - those vital things that human governments could not ensure, to the earth. 

That is why the Bible describes the news about this coming kingdom as GOOD NEWS OF THE KINGDOM. 

Jesus Christ told us that his father sent him to declare this good news to the world, and admonished us to repent as that kingdom was near. In fact, the verybfirst words of Jesus when he began preachingbwas " REPENT, FOR THE KINGDOM OF THE HEAVENS IS NEAR". This is because only humans who repent of their sins and turn around from their wicked ways and start to live godly lives will be allowed to live under his rulership. And of course faith in Jesus is also a vital requirement to inherit that kingdom. 

Jesus did work hard at preaching about that kingdom (Luke 8:1-2); trained his disciples to do the work, (Matthew 10:5-15); and gave instructions that the preaching of the kingdom message to the whole world must be done before the end comes, Matthew 24:14
