Yes, there were other human beings on Earth before Adam and Eve were banished from the presence of God in heaven into the earthly regions below (Gen. 3:23). The archaeological evidence is overwhelming that Homo Sapiens humans evolved from earlier more primitive hominids. There is also indirect evidence in the bible for the presence of other humans; e.g., in Gen. 4:14,15 Cain says to the Lord, "I will be a restless wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me". Then the Lord put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him. Cain was the firstborn son of Adam, and he had murdered his brother Abel. If he were the only surviving son of Adam, the only possible other people who could kill him wherever he wandered would be non-Adamites, i.e. people who had descended from other pre-existing human beings. Also, in Gen. 4:17, it says that Cain had a wife. Where else did he get a wife from if not from these other human beings? Further on in Gen. 6:1,2 we read that "the sons of God" married "the daughters of men". A distinction is made between the descendants of Adam who had inherited his spirit created "in the image of God" (Gen. 1:27) - the sons of God, and the other human beings who did not have the spirit of God - the daughters of men and their non-Adamitic ancestors. So this is proof right there in the bible that at the time of Adam and Eve, there were other human beings who had descended from pre-existing ancestors.
