4 And Shechem said to his father Hamor, “Get me this girl as my wife.”

ESV - 1 Now Dinah the daughter of Leah, whom she had borne to Jacob, went out to see the women of the land. 2 And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, the prince of the land, saw her, he seized her and lay with her and humiliated her.

Genesis 34:26 seems to indicate that Dinah had already been taken (even if unwillingly) into Shechem's house by the time that Simeon and Levi killed Shechem and Hamor and removed her. So it would appear that, regardless of her personal preferences, and even though she had been raped, she would not have had any say in the matter according to the customs of the times (or at least according to the customs of the Shechemites, Canaanites, and Perizzites), however barbaric those practices might have been. Also, however justified Simeon and Levi might have been in their actions, they apparently did not have the sanction of their father Jacob, who rebuked them because of their subjecting Jacob, as well as his entire family and household, subject to retaliation and even possible death from the Canaanites and the Perizzites (Genesis 34:30).

Shechem’s violent demand for immediate gratification made Dinah suffer greatly and had far-reaching consequences. So no, Dinah likely wanted nothing to do with Shechem. Should he treat our sister like a harlot (Genesis 34:31) This was Simeon and Levi’s only reply. They were correct that their sister Dinah had been abused and treated terribly. -Enduring Word
