What does granted mean in John 6:65?

What does granted mean? Chosen? So us coming to salvation is even through his grace, we didnt even originate that, correct?

John 6:65

NASB - 65 And He was saying, "For this reason I have said to you, that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted him from the Father.
