How is God "clearly seen" in this world? (Romans 1:19–20)

Romans 1:20 says," For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"(NIV)

What if someone has never heard the Gospel of Christ, will he be eternally lost? Is it fair to condemn people who have never even heard about Christ?

Romans 1:18 - 32

ESV - ¹⁸ For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. ¹⁹ For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
