Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. All, not some, but all.
Romans 3:9-10 There is none righteous, no not one. We are all sinners because we are not perfect.
James 2:10 If we have committed one sin, we are guilty of the whole law. One little lie would send us to hell forever.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. The GIFT of God is eternal life. A gift is paid in full by the giver who paid for the gift. Jesus paid our sin debt in full, past, present, and future sins we have not even thought of yet, so we would not have to go to hell to pay for them.
Romans 4:5-8 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him who justifieth the ungodly, his FAITH is counted as righteousness. We have to be as righteous as God to go to heaven, and no one is. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord imputeth righteousness apart from works. Blessed is the man whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
The GIFT of God is eternal life. You can not boast in free. A gift is free. A reward is something you work for or earn. You can not earn eternal life.
Romans 3:26-28 For He is the just and the justifier of them that believe in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? By the law of works? Nay, but by the law of FAITH. Therefore we conclude a man is justified by FAITH apart from the deeds of the law.
The GIFT of God is eternal life. Free to all who just believe on His name.
John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him, should not perish, but HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. Jesus said it, we believe it, and that settles it. John 3:18 Believers can no longer be condemned to hell, but unbelievers are condemned already, because they have not believed on the name of the Son of God.
Our good works can not save sinners. Our works are filthy rags in the sight of God. Keeping Gods laws can not save us because we have already broken them. One little lie is enough to send us to hell forever. And all the good works in the world can not pay our sin debt. We have nothing to pay with.
But the GIFT of God is eternal Life. Jesus is the GIFT of God who paid for the sins of the whole world, so that anyone who would accept his free gift of eternal life would not go to hell.
First John 2:2 For He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but for the sins of the whole world.

Romans 11:6 It is all grace, not works. If it was by works, it would no longer be grace. Law and works can not mix with grace. If you add one work, it is no longer grace but all works.
The GIFT of God is eternal life apart from works Romans 4:5. Faith is not a work. It is faith apart from works.
Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, First Corinthians 15:1-4, in whom also AFTER ye believed, ye were sealed by that Holy Spirit of promise. Romans 8:9 Without the Spirit there is no salvation. With the Spirit we have eternal life.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life. The GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL life. Once you receive the GIFT, what do you have? ETERNAL LIFE.
Can you lose eternal life? No or it would not be eternal. Eternal means forever. Not temporary or probationary but eternal life.
Our sin debt is paid in full, past, present, and future sins we have not even thought of yet. Romans 4:7-8.

You can list scriptures until the day before the rapture, and none of them will give anyone assurance of ANYTHING without the faith to believe them. Without faith the scriptures are just words strung together.
