It may sometimes seem to Christians from their limited perspective that God has ignored them or is not being responsive to them.

However, God has visibility of, and control over, all aspects of the time and manner of dealing with the needs of His followers, as well as knowledge of what will work for BOTH the temporal AND eternal good of those who love and serve Him (Romans 8:28).

In light of those facts, we should not try to put God "in a box", or lose faith in Him because the timing or manner of His actions do not fit any type of preconceived notions that we may have as to what He should do, or when He should do it.

Instead, we should (as the psalmist says) wait patiently for Him, maintaining a quiet and unwavering faith in Him, while not being envious of others (especially those who do not appear to follow God), when those others seem to be more favored in this life and world than we are, and particularly not allowing any such envy to compromise the morality of our own actions.
