As Christians, we are adopted into God's family. Thinking of the story of Joseph, (Joseph being a type of Christ) rejected by his brothers, Israelites) could the tribe of Benjamin represent us.

Benjamin was born later, after Joseph had been abandoned.

Joseph was not aware of Benjamin. Yet he gladly welcomed him in Egypt.

In Genesis 42, Joseph holds his brother's for 3 days. It makes me think of Jesus in the tomb. Then Joseph requests his brother's bring Benjamin, a brother he did not know. Could Christians be represented by Benjamin?

Fascinating. I learned a lot in reading both the first answer and the first discussion. Thank you both for your dedication in presenting God’s Word.
