What could be more holy than God walking on the earth, talking with his children, observing all He created, reaching out in His Love!

The word holy/holiness is derived from the Hebrew root word "qadash," which basically means separateness. God is unlike us in His righteousness and purity. 

What became increasingly evident in the O.T. became evident in the N.T.. Holiness means pure, loving. God is separate from evil. He is the epitome of all good. 

In Genesis God is implied in dread which He inspires. Genesis 28:16,17. However from Exodus 3:5 on, God reveals His Nature, His Name, His Heart.

Isaiah 6:3 is a personal revelation to a prophet. Revelation 4:8 is proclaimed from heaven above to all with power and glory.

Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of God. Evil spirits recognized Him as "the Holy One of God."

Indeed holy week is a celebration of The Holy God's love. He came to experience life on His earth. He came to understand our human struggle. He came in the person of Lord Jesus to reveal how much He loves us. AMEN!

From Palm Sunday, to Gethsemane, to the Cross. Holy, Holy, HOLY!

In its original sense, "holy" means "consecrated" or "set apart". What we call "Holy Week" (Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday) fits this description because it was during that week that Christ made the unique, once-for-all sacrifice of Himself to atone for the sins of all humanity (which was the only way in which that atonement could be achieved), and then rose from the dead to validate the sufficiency of that sacrifice in God's eyes.

I don't think this is not about the "definition" of the word "holy".

2 Tim 2:15 tells us, "Study (meaning the Scriptures) to show thyself approved unto God.......".

If you are a genuine student of the Bible, you will know that Easter and the holy week are not true, based on the Bible.

Both Easter and holy week are of human (Roman Catholic) invention and do not truthfully construe what the Bible clearly says.

Both Jesus and Paul (as taught by Jesus) condemn following man’s traditions. Easter and holy week are purely man made TRADITIONS. 

Easter and "traditions" based, thereon, are non-Biblical.

The word Easter is the name of a Pagan goddess and has no relationship with Jesus the Christ, of Nazareth.
