God does not want Christians to be uncertain about their eternal state.
Romans 10:9 says, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
1 John 5:13 says, "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life."
Do I believe in and confess Jesus as Savior, Lord, and the Son of God? Yes (as I have done numerous times, including (explicitly or implicitly) with every post that I make on this site).
Do I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead? Yes
Apart from faith in Christ, to what extent am I depending on my own works or merit for my salvation? 0% (Ephesians 2:8-9)("For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.")
Therefore, I am 100% certain that I am saved and will have eternal life in His presence (in heaven or on the "new earth" mentioned in Revelation 21) after my earthly life ends.

Josh 1:9: Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Phil 4:6: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. I have no whatsoever problems with my life on the planet earth. I have helped people, empowered them and I am very much satisfied with the direction my life is going. As for after death,I am very much confident that my master is present there to receive me in person.

John 3: 16. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. I believe everlasting life. It means eternal life in paradise. When on the cross the man next to Jesus asked to remember him to His Father, Jesus responded that today he would be in paradise (paraphrasing).

A saved believer 100% believes that Jesus Christ died for their sins on the cross, that God forgave them through His shed blood...on that day (Rom 3:25, 1 Cor 15:1-4). They have 100% submitted that they are incapable of pleasing God for that purpose. They 100% recognize Christ's life, death, and victory for them (as is seen in His death, burial, and resurrection). Placing our faith (belief) in His salvific work for us, completed on our behalf, is the 100% assurance that believers possess regarding their eternal salvation. When they realize what He did FOR THEM, and that He requires nothing of them in return (for salvation), then they 100% understand, 100% believe and are 100% beyond a shadow of a doubt "sealed unto the day of redemption" saved! Eph 1:12-13 "That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise," Eph 4:30 "And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption." They have zero doubt because they now fully trust in Him for them rather than them for Him, believing in what He alone could and did do for us, rather than what we believe we can do...for Him. We either have a Savior in Jesus Christ or we do not. If we're of the belief that our own "filthy rags" efforts will contribute to our salvation, we are lost: Gal 5:1-5 "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. 2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. 3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. 4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. 5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith."
