The references to the Antichrist are found in the following chapters of the bible:

“Ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists.... Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son.” 1 John 2:18, 22. 
“This is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” 1 John 4:3. 
“For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.” 2 John 7.

These verses tell us a compelling truth that the Antichrist, which was prophesied of, even now is present. The Bible goes on to describe its identity; the apostle did not believe the antichrist to be only one individual, but rather an antichristian tendency in the church: an organization dominated by “the spirit of antichrist.” We can testify to such falsehood rising at an alarming speed to deceive many and to keep God's people from the way of the True Shepherd, Christ Jesus.

It is important to understand the term 'Antichrist,' which the bible speaks of:
“antichrist” comes from two Greek words, antee and khristos, and gives the following definition of antee: “Opposite, i.e. instead or because of... for, in the room of... in place of. Often used in composition to denote... substitution.” — Exhaustive Concordance, Greek Dictionary. The meaning, therefore, of “antichrist,” as it is used in the New Testament, is a rival to Christ.

In addition to defining the Antichrist, it's of great importance to make note of whom the Antichrist aims to oppose or take the place of, who is Jesus Christ, the son of God. He is the Son of God, who came to die for our sin that we may receive grace through Him alone; we all sinned and fall short of the glory of God. He ascended back to heaven and sits at the right hand of the God, the Father. He sent the Holy spirit to guide us into all truth. All power is given unto Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Lord, he has the power to condemn sin and cleanse us when we confess our sin. Romans 3:23, Hebrews 1:3, Acts 2:33, Matthew 28:18

Broadly, an “antichrist” or "antichrists" are anyone or a group which denies that Jesus is the Christ (1 John 2:22). More specifically, John understands such a person to be a human representative of the “evil one” of whom Jesus spoke (John 17:15). Just as humanity in Adam has rejected God and has been plunged into ever greater depths of sin as a result (Romans 1:18-32), so it will move into all-out rebellion against God when the Antichrist appears (2 Thessalonians 2:4). 

The Bible provides all the clues Christians need to decipher falsehood. With earnest prayers and diligent study of the word of God, we are able to notice the Antichrist at work, and not be deceived. Only Jesus Christ is true Saviour and Lord, and having a personal relationship with Him will not only make his grace and mercy meet our soul-needs but also open our eyes to what work against the kingdom of God and its righteousness.

The Antichrist is a future leader, usually seen as the first beast, Revelation 13:1-10, who becomes the ruler of the reconstituted Roman Empire and a leader of the world. Although the Bible does not specify which beast, there are valid arguments that the Antichrist is, instead, the second beast, Revelation 13:11-18. 

The Antichrist is one who is against Christ and one who attempts to usurp Him, I John 2:18, 22, 4:3, Matthew 24:4-5. The imagery of one riding a white horse, Revelation 6:2, and appearing as a lamb, Revelation 13:11 suggests one who is a deceiver claiming to be Christ, John 5:43.

To be an Antichrist, he must be a Jew, which he may be, but he is an apostate Jew having nothing to do with the God of his fathers, and nothing to do with Christ, “the desire of women,” (Jewish women desire to bear the promised seed of the woman), Daniel 11:37. Instead, he honors strange gods, Daniel 11:38-39.

He will enter the temple which would be expected of Christ, but this one will reveal himself as the “man of sin,” the wicked one who will sit in the temple, exalting himself as God, II Thessalonians 2:3-4. He works all power, signs and wonders, II Thessalonians 2:9, much like Christ did, but without deception, Acts 2:22. 

The Antichrist is likely the false prophet, Revelation 16:13, 19:20, 20:10, who as subordinate to the blasphemous Roman beast, causes all to worship him. As the religious leader, he deceptively authenticates the political beast’s role by performing astounding miracles. He has power to give life unto the image of the beast. The Jewish Elijah-like prophet will support the Gentile Caesar-like beast.

The two different beasts are found in Daniel 9:27. The first breaks the covenant made with Israel, the second, who may not be the same as the first person in the verse, is the desolator. This individual is the same one that Paul wrote about in II Thessalonians 2:3-4, the “man of sin” who exalts himself as God.

Daniel portrays him as the “little horn” of Daniel 7:20, 24-25, 8:9-12, 23-25, who emerges at the time of the Roman ten horns and its area and uproots three of them. He is not one of the ten horns. He causes the abomination of desolation, Matthew 24:15, Mark 13:14, compared to Daniel 8:13, 9:27, 11:31. Seeing this, the Jews are to flee Judea. His sphere is not worldwide, but regional.

He is also the future King of the North, Daniel 11:36-45. As in the rest of the chapter, the King of the North is Syrian, possibly an Assyrian, Isaiah 14:24-25, Micah 5:4-6. Also, he lives in tents as the Bedouins, Daniel 11:45. As a regional king, he continues the rivalry with Egypt, King of the South, who attempts to attack him, but is soundly defeated by the King of the North. 

The Antichrist is likely the second beast or false prophet, and the little horn who raises havoc in Judea.
