For those who have been redeemed by faith in Christ, His visible return at the close of the present age is something that they await with great joy and anticipation. By contrast, however, the mourning and wailing mentioned in the verse cited in the question is that of the unsaved of all eras (specifically including those who were responible for putting Jesus to death), who will realize when He returns that they are facing the final condemnation and everlasting punishment that await them for their rejection of Jesus.
