Some suggestions (all based on the fact that God is always with us, and hears us whenever and wherever we call on Him or need Him): Psalm 3 (Key verse: “But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.” (Psalm 3:3)) Psalm 11 (Key verse: “In the Lord I take refuge." (Psalm 11:1a)) Psalm 18 (Key verse: “In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.” (Psalm 18:6)) Psalm 23 (Key verses: “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” (Psalm 23:1-2)) Psalm 27 (Key verse: “I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” (Psalm 27:13)) Psalm 34 (Key verse: "I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” (Psalm 34:4)) Psalm 46: (Key verse: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1))
My recent favorite is Psalm 34. Seeking always leads us to seeing. And what we see is what we get. If we choose to see the deliverance God offers, we will choose to walk in deliverance. If we choose to live in fear, we will live bound in fear. (Ps 34:4) [Psa 34:4] "Give To The Winds Thy Fears" (hymn) -- "Give to the winds thy fears, Hope and be undismayed. God hears thy sighs and counts thy tears, God shall lift up thy head."
