Though Muslims often argue for the divine origin of the Qur'an on grounds that "no error, alteration, or variation" has touched its copies since its inception, such a view does not accurately repre...

While there are many issues with the Koran, the biggest most important one is who they think Jesus the one true messiah is. They do talk about Jesus or "Isa" son of Mary, but they claim according to the Koran which was given to Muhammad by an angel. We know by the Holy Word of God that The Lord said even if an angel gives to you any other teaching other this not to accept it (Galatians 1:8). We know the Bible is not In error proclaiming this because it was written long before the Koran was. They say that Jesus was another prophet that made God mad by saying He was Gods son, and that He will have to repent and come back with Muhammad and convert everyone to Islam. We know this is not the case God himself spoke from Heaven saying this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased in Luke chapter 3 in front of many witnesses when Jesus was baptized in the river Jordan by John the Baptist. Jesus is the one and only way to Heaven. There is no other name by which men MUST be saved. Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. John14:6 and Romans 14:11

The Koran is full of errors and some how duplicated things from the Christian Bible, but leaves out the important things.
1. It does not believe in the Trinity of God.
2. It puts Jesus Christ as just a small prophet.
3. It does not put Jesus Christ as God.
4. It uses the Angels from the Christian Bible to justify Mohammad.
5. It makes Jerusalem their third most important site.

There is no substance to justify the religion that the Koran talks about. Mohammad was not perfect or even anyone to talk about. He gratified himself in most of the things he did and put alot if evil in his writings. The religion he founded is a false religion in all respect. I feel that it is the opposite of the Christian religion and their God I'd not the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob (Israel). It is a religion to surpress women and control the masses that believe in it. There are too many lies in the Koran that cannot be proven. It is a false religion and it the only one that contains violence to people that do not believe in it.

A very important question for our times and I will humbly submit some examples taken from the Qur’an itself for your consideration.

Remember the stated purpose of the Qur’an and Islam was to correct all the previous corruptions of God’s true Word over time, so there should be NO errors.(Isaiah 21:1)

Now to the question itself are there factual provable errors within the Qur'an and if so, where did they come from? (Isaiah 46:10)

The Qur'an itself gives us the standards to measure it's own truth and they are the Jewish scriptures and the Bible, which are referenced as the BOOK within the pages of the Qur’an. (2 Corinthians 11:14; 2 Corinthians 11:15)

Surah 5:68 Say “O People of the Book! You have no ground to stand upon unless you stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord.” It is the revelation that comes to you from your Lord, that increases in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But you do not grieve over (these) people without Faith.

Surah 10:94 If you were in doubt as to what We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Book from Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt.
(the Book judges the Qur’an)

Surah 18:27 And recite (and teach) what has been revealed to you of the book of your Lord: none can change His Words, and none will you find as a refuge other than Him.(His Words can not be changed, got that)

Discrepancies
Surah 4:82 Do they not consider the Qur’an (with care)? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy.

Surah 18:86 Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: near it he found a People: We said ”O Zulu-Canaan! (you have authority,) either to punish them, or to treat them with kindness.”
So the sun sets in a spring of murky water?

Surah 88:20 And at the Earth, how it is spread out?
(Note; original text was "FLAT" the text was changed to "spread out" which is not permitted via instructions of Surah 18:27)

Islamic records assert Muhammed actually spoke Satan's words as if they were the words of Allah. This event is documented by several early Muhammadan scholars and its reference in the Hadith and the Qur'an.

The “Satanic Verses” event is recorded by the earliest Islamic sources available, reporting on Muhammad's life. Satan was able to deceive Muhammad, and thus insinuating himself in the Qur'an, by causing Muhammad to recite his (Satan?) words as if they were Allah's words.

Original text: Allah of Muhammad and Islam monotheism, has three daughters / deities?
Surah 53:21 These are the exalted Gharaniq [high flying cranes] (intermediaries)
Surah 53:22 Whose intercession is to be hoped for.

Later Muhammadan scholars, ashamed that their self-declared prophet spoke Satan's words, denied the event occurred and changed the original text.
Surah 53:21 What! For you the male sex, and for Him, the female?
Surah 53:22 Behold, such would be indeed a division most unfair!

Bottom line I humbly submit that the One True God lovely placed errors within the pages of the Qur’an that point to Him as signs for the faithful who seek Him.
(2 Corinthians 10:5)

The entire book is an error and the one who gave a false prophet. There is not one shred of it that is true or divine.

Yes, the Koran portends many errors. But its major flaw in my opinion is its anti-contextual position to anyone being the "Christ".

Jesus is referred to as a minor prophet sent to Israel, whom they rejected and killed, because of their wickedness. The Koran teaches that Allah cannot have an only begotten son.

This is interesting because the Koran portends some 270+ prophets sent by Allah, all being infinitely subordinate to Mohammed, including the inaccurate interpretation of the Son of God, Christ Jesus, whom they refer to as "Isa", the minor prophet sent to the Jews.

Of all these Prophets noted above, including Mohammed, Isa is the only one the Koran states Allah raised from the dead......by ignoring God's Revelation in His Resurrection, and portending that God cannot have (father) a son, they have completely undermined Divine Truth, this context is truly Anti-Christ.
