God is completely trustworthy. God has unlimited abilities, so He can do anything. He is all-powerful, ever-present, all-knowing and sovereign. Nothing is too difficult for Him. However, despite all this, you can trust Him only to the degree that you know Him. JM

God is …

a Trinity (Mt 28:19; 2 Co 13:14—here, God’s love is exemplified--
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. ).
He’s eternal (Dt 33:27-- “The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.”; Ps 90:2: Nave’s Topical Bible
faithful (Dt 7:9 --Deuteronomy 7:9
“Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;”; Ps 89:1-2)-- I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.” Remember the song,
good (Psalm 107:8 KJV) "Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!"
gracious (1 Pe 5:10--“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”),
holy (1 Pe 1:15 -- “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation [conduct];”),
incomprehensible (Rom. 11:33--“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!” KJV =
"O the depth of the riches, both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and how incomprehensible His ways!" TLV),
infinite (Jer 23:24--“Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? Saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? Saith the LORD.”),
immutable (Heb. 13:8--“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”),
light (Jas. 1:17; 1 Jn 1:5--“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.”),
love (Jn 3:16; Ro 5:8; 1 John 4:8 - He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

1 John 4:16 - And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.),
merciful (Ps 103:8-17-- Psalms Chapter 103

8 "The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy."),
omnipotent(Gen 18:14; Rev 19:6--“And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.”),
omnipresent (Ps 139:7-12)
omniscient (Ps 139:2-6; Isa 40:13-14),
one (Dt 6:4-5-- “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:”),
righteous and just (Ps 119:137),
self-existent (Ex 3:13-14) and
self-sufficient (Ps 50:10-12--10 For every beast of the forest is mine,
the cattle on a thousand hills.
11 I know all the birds of the hills,
and all that moves in the field is mine.

12 "If I were hungry, I would not tell you,
for the world and its fullness are mine.");

sovereign (Isa 46:9-11; Job 42:2:“I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.”),
spirit (Jn 4:24-- "God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."),
true (Joh 14:6-- Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.; John 17:3; Tit. 1:1-2),
wise (Pr 3:19; 1 Tim. 1:17). --1 Timothy 1:17 KJV “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.” cru
