There are some significant women in the Bible, including the following examples.

Sarah, wife of Abraham and mother of Isaac, is a matriarch of the Israelite people. Her faith was rewarded when she miraculously gave birth to a son in her old age.

Miriam, the sister of Moses and Aaron, was a prophetess who helped save Moses as an infant. She later led the women of Israel in worship after crossing the Red Sea.

Generous Israelite women: Exodus 35:5, 22, 25, 26; 36:3-7.

Deborah: A rare female judge and prophetess in ancient Israel, she helped inspire and lead the Israelites to victory over their Canaanite oppressors.

Jael: A woman who courageously killed the enemy general Sisera, fulfilling Deborah's prophecy and securing a military victory for Israel.

Hannah: A pious woman who prayed for a son and vowed to dedicate him to God. She became the mother of the prophet Samuel.
