How do we "share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ"? (2 Thessalonians 2:14)

13 But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits[b] to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. 14 He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

15 So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings[c] we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

16 May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, 17 encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

2 Thessalonians 2:13 - 17

ESV - 13 But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. 14 To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In the epistle of Paul written to the believers in Rome, specifically the eighth chapter reveals the future glory that shall be revealed in us through Christ Jesus. We are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. The future glory is the manifestation of the children of God, where we shall be delivered from the corruption of our bodies. This is the hope that we have received in Christ Jesus.

These verses give the order of things. When we believed His gospel, First Corinthians 15:1-4 We were sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:13-14 unto the praise of His glory to be raised at the resurrection and changed into His likeness.

Colossians 3:3-4 For ye are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory.

We are already glorified in our Spirit. John 3:18 We can no longer be condemned. We have been given the Seal of the Holy Spirit unto the praise of His glory.

Second Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless, the foundation of God is sure, having this seal, ( the Holy Spirit ) the Lord knoweth them that are His.

John 6:40 And this is the will of Him who sent me, that ALL that seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life, and I WILL RAISE HIM UP ON THE LAST DAY. AMAZING GRACE.
