I would like to give some inputs on this vital point. It is impossible to fully comprehend how we look like in eternity. But one thing for sure, neither our first parents Adam and Eve nor we, will receive brand new bodies. Let us consider the resurrected body of our savior Jesus Christ. As there is one-to- one correspondence between the body of Christ died and the body of Christ after the resurrection, our resurrection bodies will also be numerically identical to the bodies we now possess. In other words, we will not receive any brand new bodies totally transformed. There will be a continuity between our earthly bodies and our heavenly bodies. Apostle Paul provided us a seed analogy (1Cor. 15:35-38). As a seed is transformed into the body it will become, so too our mortal bodies will be transformed into the immortal bodies they will be. The blueprints for our glorified bodies are in the bodies we now possess (2 Cor. 5:1). Apostle Paul spoke of a ' spiritual body ' (1Cor. 15:44). Our bodies in eternity will be supernatural, Spirit - dominated and sin- free supernatural. Although we continue to struggle against sinful proclivities in the present, we eagerly await a metamorphosis that will transform our natural bodies into bodies that is immortal, imperishable and incorruptible (Phil. 3:20-21).

In the,"Ancient Faith version on the Christian Standard Bible" I found this: 2 Corinthians 5:1, Origen comments: "In regard to our bodily nature we must understand that there is not one body which we now use in lowliness and corruption and weakness and a different one which we are to use hereafter incorruption and power and glory, but this same body having cast off the weakness of its present existence will be transformed into a thing of glory and made spiritual. The result is that what was a vessel of dishonor shall itself be purified and become a vessel of honor and a habitation of blessedness. And we must believe that our body remains in this condition forever unchangeably by the will of the Creator. We are made certain of this fact by the statement of the apostle Paul in which he says, 'We have a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.'" Topic - Our Future After Death: 2 Corinthians 5:1: "For we know that if our earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal dwelling in the heavens, not made with hands."
