If a person was doing a drug, then asked God to take the addiction for it and it to never return to their life; and God did; but then the person occasionally uses the drug when weak, weary, or anxious, does God hold it against that person? What if they then ask for forgiveness and repent for using again?

Hi Tara,

There is no limit to God's forgiveness when we ask - even if we have done something a thousand times.

As for anxiety, God's ideal is when we cast our cares on Him rather than looking to Earthly solutions. If we don't, He won't 'hold it against us' (He'll forgive us) - but He will be saddened.

God is "I am who I am". AND He is "The Alpha and the Omega"

These two statements exactly tell us about God. No matter how much scripture or quotations from books or people we pour out, they cannot explain properly about God.

For it is right and just not to give any attributes to God, for no human mind can comprehend Who is God and what he is like!

That is why the words, "I am who I am" show God can not be explained by any man but by God himself!

He says he is the beginning and end. Again it is pointing out that He is
incomprehensible, for the beginning and end can never be the same except as per our understanding in a circular path where every point can be a beginning and end in itself! But that is a physical human attribute, and we can never attribute any physical human attribute like those mentioned in the scriptures to God's true existence and power!

For God is always "being", "existing" and never absent of it. If he is in the light, he is also in the darkness. If he is in the good, he is also in the evil, If he is in the sound, he is also in the silence, If he is in the wisdom, he is also in the ignorance. If he is in the obedience, he is also in the disobedience. He is the creator and author of all. No one and nothing exists without his knowledge and permission. If some one is doing well and is faithful to God and people, it is because of God. If some one doing bad and not faithful to God, and people that is also with the permission and acceptance of God. Everything in this world and beyond this world works as per the will of God and nothing can happen without his will and permission!
