What is the Bible's position on social drinking?
If, as the Bible says, Psalm 104:15 King James Version (KJV) 15 And wine that maketh glad the heart of man..." but also Proverbs 20:1 "Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise," which is right? Can a Christian indulge himself in drinking wine or not?
Proverbs 20:1
KJV - 1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
