The context makes it clear that Paul is speaking of men’s and women’s equality regardIng our common inheritance in Christ, not universally. Those who claim this passage states than men and women are equal in every way (authority, roles in the Church, etc.) ignore other scriptures when doing so and ignore the context of the passage.
